Job summary

Assetlink Village Services seeks an experienced leader to manage a remote mining village operation on a Full Time FIFO roster ex Perth. You will oversee accommodation, catering, cleaning, safety, and resident experience, driving efficiency and service excellence in a fast-paced remote setting.

You will lead onsite teams, manage client relationships, and uphold HACCP and WHS compliance while controlling budgets and costs, with a focus on creating a safe, supportive workplace.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading remote village or mining accommodation operations.
• Strong leadership and people management capability.
• Experience with catering, accommodation, and hospitality services.
• Solid knowledge of WHS legislation, HACCP, and food safety compliance.
• Experience with budgeting, stock management, reporting, and operational systems.
• Ability to build strong client and team relationships.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Comfort working across operational and personnel matters in high-pressure environments.

Lead Remote Village Operations with Assetlink Village Services

Since expanding into the Mining Sector in 2020, AVS has continued to grow across remote Australian locations, and we're looking for experienced leaders who want to grow with us.

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Village Manager/Assistant Village Manager to join our team on a Full Time FIFO roster ex Perth, overseeing one of our mining village operations.

About the Role

As Village Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the village, ensuring high standards across accommodation, catering, cleaning, safety, and overall resident experience.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced remote environments and can confidently lead teams, manage client relationships, and drive operational excellence.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading and supporting onsite teams across village services operations

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a confident and proactive leader with previous experience managing remote village or mining accommodation operations.

You will bring:

• Demonstrated experience managing village operations within remote or mining environments
• Strong leadership and people management capability
• Experience overseeing catering, cleaning, accommodation, and hospitality services
• Sound knowledge of WHS legislation, HACCP principles, and food safety compliance
• Experience with budgeting, stock management, reporting, and operational systems
• The ability to build strong working relationships with clients and teams
• Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Confidence working across operational and personnel matters in high-pressure environments

Essential Requirements

• Current WA C Class Driver's Licence
• Current National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening

Highly Regarded

• Approved Manager's Certificate
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
• Senior First Aid Certificate
• Experience using systems such as SAP, MEX, Safety Culture, or SwiftPOS
