Burger Urge Palmerston is seeking a hands-on Assistant Venue Manager to lead a team, oversee daily operations, manage inventory, scheduling, and facilities, while delivering exceptional service.

You will drive customer satisfaction, uphold food safety standards, support marketing activities, and help grow the venue within a dynamic, fast-paced hospitality environment. Sponsorship opportunities may be available after probation for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager with staff management, service, inventory, and financial performance.
• Train and supervise staff in company policies and procedures.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met.
• Maintain stock levels and reorder supplies as needed.
• Develop strategies to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
• Manage employee scheduling and shift coverage.
