Job summary

Funlab in Adelaide is hiring an Assistant Venue Manager to lead Archie Brothers, Strike, Holey Moley and Hijinx Hotel venues in Adelaide CBD. You will motivate a busy team, drive guest satisfaction, and manage front- and back-of-house operations to deliver unforgettable experiences.

Join a seven-day operation with a people-first culture, supportive wellness programs, and growth opportunities across multiple brands. Nights and weekends availability is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year people management experience.
• A valid RSA and Working with Children Check.
• Availability to work nights and weekends.
• An obsession with providing the best guest experiences.
• Experience in driving revenues on shift.
• Proactive, with a sense of urgency and a positive can-do attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Well organised planner who works well under timeline pressures and tackling multiple priorities.
• Capable problem-solver and thinking on your feet.
• Proven ability to build and manage relationships with different stakeholders.
• A desire to show off what you've got and what heights you can take the business!

• Handle Operations: Take on front of house & back of house portfolios like rosters, training, P&L management, forecasting, and more
• Cultivate Culture: Build a collaborative, inclusive vibe that makes coming to work exciting
• Grow and Shine: Develop your skills and those of your team while mastering all aspects of a bustling entertainment venue
