About Us:
The Agostino Group is a 100% South Australian owned company with its head office based in Adelaide. We own and operate a number of AMPM Fuel and Convenience stores across South Australia in addition to multiple fast food restaurants including Carl’s Jr and Subway.

We are currently seeking to appoint a number of Assistant Store Managers to join our team in our Strathalbyn, Mile End, Angle Vale, Roseworthy and West Lakes AMPM Fuel and Convenience stores.

The Role:
Reporting to the Store Manager you will play an integral part in supporting and overseeing the overall operation of the store. Each day will bring you something different, but your objective will always be the same; to deliver fast and friendly customer service in a safe and clean site while consistently providing superior customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;

  • Training
  • Supervising
  • Directing staff.
  • Making decisions during shifts on staffing matters and rostering needs.
  • Driving company programs and policies to better engage and support co-workers and direct reports.

The position will require you to work every weekend with two days off during the week, due to the nature of our industry it will also be expected you work public holidays.

About You:
Ideally you will have experience from the retailing, hospitality or fast food industries with some previous experience in staff management/ leadership roles.

You will possess excellent communication skills with strong conflict resolution experience and a proven ability to delegate effectively. Proven experience in managing competing tasks while being a natural leader who can think on their feet will provide you the skills necessary to be successful.
