Job summary

The Athlete’s Foot Cairns is looking for a proactive Assistant Manager to lead our energetic footwear team. You’ll work with top brands, drive sales, and ensure exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced store environment.

You’ll be responsible for staffing rosters, wage spend, training, and maintaining store presentation, stock management, and brand partnerships, while supporting the Store Manager in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant Store Manager or similar retail leadership role.
• Proven success in achieving KPIs and sales targets.
• Strong stock control and visual merchandising knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets.
• Collaborate with Store Manager on rosters and wage control within guidelines.
• Support store operations, presentation, stock management and merchandising.
• Drive team training, development and succession planning.
• Engage with community partnerships and health professional relationships.
• Ensure OH&S compliance across the store.
