Job summary

Camp Australia in Ropes Crossing, NSW, is seeking staff to design and maintain engaging, safe programs for primary-aged children, plan daily activities, and prepare healthy snacks while building strong relationships with children, families and the school community.

We offer a permanent contract, up to 95% discounts for your children’s services, wellbeing days, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), career growth, and funded development, plus opportunities for internal roles.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills.
• Completed or working towards a childcare‑related Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain).
• Availability from 6:30 am - 8:30 am and 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday. (Approx 27.5 hours per week in School term)
• Valid Child Protection training Certificate and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

In this role, you’ll design and maintain an engaging, safe, and compliant program. Plan exciting daily activities for primary‑aged Children. Prepare and serve delicious, healthy snacks, and build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the local school community.
