Job summary

Guzman y Gomez Mexican Kitchen is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager in Sydney to support daily restaurant operations and lead a busy team through service periods.

You will train staff, drive guest satisfaction, and assist with stock control and basic financial tasks as part of your growth within a fast-paced brand.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a busy, high-volume hospitality or retail environment.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and effectively communicate with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you’ll be responsible for supporting the daily management of the restaurant. You will be leading the team through busy service periods, crew training, proactively improving guest experience, and supporting inventory and financial managing as required.

What we're looking for:

• Experience leading a team within a busy, high volume hospitality or retail environment - think supermarkets, fast-food, pubs/clubs, restaurants or similar
• Experience delivering exceptional customer service
• Exceptional communication skills
• Passion for inspiring, leading and developing your team
