Job summary

El Jannah is seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to support day-to-day leadership and operations at one of its restaurants. You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to drive high standards in food quality, service, safety and cleanliness while contributing to strong commercial performance.

This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading from the floor, building a high‑performing team culture and growing with a brand that invests in its leaders.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Restaurant Manager in leading daily restaurant operations
• Championing the EJ Way, a guest-first culture and ensuring consistently high service standards
• Leading, coaching, inspiring, energising and developing team members and Shift Leaders
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and performance management
• Preparing and managing rosters in line with operational requirements, labour budgets and compliance
• Overseeing food safety, cleanliness and WHS standards
• Managing stock levels, deliveries and inventory controls
• Supporting payroll processes and administrative tasks
• Helping drive sales, manage costs and deliver against restaurant KPIs
• Building strong team engagement and a positive, inclusive workplace
