Bang Bang Byron Bay is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Assistant manager. Australian work rights or valid work visa required for this position. Our expanding group has venues stretching from Noosa, through Brisbane, Byron Bay, East Ballina and Coffs Harbour.

As an Assistant Manager you will lead by example, mentor staff and ensure a positive, efficient operation in a smaller cocktail bar setting, while staying flexible and team-oriented to enhance guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years leadership experience in hospitality management.
• Passion for Food & Beverage and guest experience.
• Strong organisation and planning to lead teams effectively.
• Initiate training and mentoring for staff development.
• Hold RSA certification before commencement.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate leadership and guide the team in daily operations.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure smooth service in a small bar environment.
• Mentor team members and foster a proactive work culture.
• Collaborate with bar and venue leaders to deliver guest experiences.

As a Assistant Manager candidate you will:

• have leadership experience
• have a minimum of 1-2 years leadership experience in hospitality management
• have a passion for all things Food and Beverage
• Incorporate good organisation and planning, whilst working alongside and enabling other leaders and staff to work efficiently and cohesively.
• initiate training and mentoring for staff to encourage and facilitate development for all the team
• hold current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification before commencement
