Job summary

Marist Sisters' College Woolwich, part of Sydney Catholic Schools, seeks an Assistant Religious Education Coordinator to lead Religious Education programs, promote evangelisation, and build a thriving Catholic community within a girls’ school context.

The role requires proven educational leadership, capacity to implement faith-based curricula, and engagement with the Archdiocese of Sydney. WWCC clearance is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Experience in creating a contemporary, student-centred learning culture with a faith community.
• Ability to lead change to enhance learning in Religious Education.
• Strategic understanding of the school within broader ecclesial and community contexts.
• Ability to develop collaborative partnerships to support faith journey, learning and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Religious Education programs across the school.
• Promote Evangelisation initiatives and the Catholic mission of the school.
• Lead and support the Evangelisation efforts within the Archdiocese of Sydney context.
• Collaborate with staff, families and the parish to support faith and well-being.
