Babcock Australia & New Zealand is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Collins Sustainment Program. You will report to the Project Manager and handle day-to-day project management activities, ensuring safety, scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality and resources are effectively managed.
This role offers planning, reporting, stakeholder management, and client-facing responsibilities to grow your project management capabilities within Babcock’s Global Project Management Framework.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take responsibility for day-to-day project management activities, ensuring safety, scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality and resources are effectively managed.
This role offers the opportunity to develop and apply your project management skills in an environment of limited complexity, where you will gain exposure to end-to-end project delivery.
From planning and reporting to stakeholder management and client-facing responsibilities, you will be actively involved in ensuring project outcomes are achieved while building your capability in line with Babcock’s Global Project Management Framework.
You will bring a sound understanding of project management principles and the ability to apply these in practical situations.
Your strong organisational skills and ability to follow through on tasks will ensure projects remain on track and aligned with stakeholder requirements.
As a strong communicator, you will thrive in a team environment and be comfortable engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
You are motivated to learn, open to supervision, and keen to grow your experience in project management within a highly professional and supportive environment.
