Qualifications

• Approval to teach special education is required.
• Extensive experience teaching students with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities (moderate).
• Experience supporting complex learning needs including communication, wellbeing and challenging behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Lead a support unit and manage dual roles of Assistant Principal and classroom teacher.
• Demonstrate curriculum differentiation and development of high-quality individual education plans.
• Provide inclusive and collaborative leadership to build staff capacity and school-wide practices.
• Foster strong partnerships with staff, families and the wider school community.
