Job summary

EVT Limited in Sydney is seeking a capable Night Manager to lead overnight operations across our hotel network. You’ll ensure smooth guest check-in/out, safety, and service excellence while managing audits and departmental coordination.

Ideal candidates bring front office or night audit experience, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to support a guest-first experience throughout night shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in front office or night audit in hotels.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate nightly audit reporting.
• Proficient with hotel reservation and payment systems.
• Excellent communication and guest-service mindset.
• Knowledge of WHS standards and cashiering procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, professional service while checking guests in/out.
• Assist with night operations and welcome guests.
• Cover Night Manager days off and oversee night operations.
• Monitor Rooms Division and Food & Beverage overnight.
• Collaborate with departments to maintain service standards.
• Complete accurate night audit tasks and ensure policy compliance.
• Support other departments to ensure smooth overnight operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, professional service while efficiently checking guests in and out.
• Assist with night operations and deliver a warm, personalised welcome experience for guests.
• Step up to cover Night Manager days off, overseeing all night operations and ensuring safety and security of guests, staff, and property.
• Monitor and support the performance of Rooms Division and Food & Beverage departments overnight.
• Collaborate with all hotel departments to maintain service standards and resolve operational issues.
• Complete accurate night audit tasks and ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
• Support other departments as needed to ensure smooth overnight operations.

What You’ll Bring

• Previous experience in front office or night audit roles within a hotel environment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately process guest transactions and complete nightly audit reports.
• Confident using hotel systems for reservations, payments, and reporting.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a guest-first approach.
• Knowledge of hotel policies, WH&S standards, and cashiering procedures.
• Ability to work independently overnight while leading and motivating teams across multiple departments during overnight shifts
