WB Hunter Pty's Shepparton Mitre 10 Timber Division is seeking an experienced Trade Sales Assistant Manager / Sales Representative for a full-time, on-site role in Northern Victoria. The successful candidate will support the Timber Manager, manage trade accounts, and drive sales across timber, hardware and related building products.

The role emphasizes customer service, stock control, quotations, and promoting strong relationships with trade customers.

• Perform weekly stock counts and order stock
• Record stock in the system and deliver to customers

Shepparton Store - Full-Time Position

An opportunity is available for an experienced Trade Sales Assistant Manager / Sales Representative to join the Timber Division at our Shepparton Mitre 10 store in Northern Victoria. This full-time role is ideal for an enthusiastic sales professional with experience in the building and trade industry who is ready to contribute to a friendly, highly successful company with 11 outlets across regional Victoria.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Timber Manager in achieving the division's operational and sales goals
• Identify and pursue new trade customer opportunities to drive business growth
• Manage existing trade accounts, respond to customer needs and build lasting relationships
• Process trade and retail sales across timber, hardware and other building products
• Deliver high-quality service and support to our established customer base
• Prepare accurate customer quotations and promptly follow up sales enquiries
• Complete weekly stock counts for trade products
• Order stock in line with customer demand
• Accurately record incoming stock in the computer system
• Deliver products to trade and DIY customers

Skills and Experience

• Trade sales experience and a strong customer-service focus
• Solid knowledge of timber and related building products
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills, with close attention to detail
• Clear communication, excellent customer service and strong organisational skills
• A proactive, positive attitude and strong self-motivation
• Current manual driver's and forklift licences
