Job summary

Endeavour Group is hiring an Assistant Manager for Pacific Pines Tavern on the Gold Coast. You will run the floor, lead a team in a high-volume hospitality venue, supervise daily operations, and maintain a high-energy, guest-focused service standard.

Ideal candidates bring hospitality experience, supervisory background, and the required RSA/RSG, RMLV, and Approved Managers Licence to ensure safe, compliant operations across bar, dining, and gaming areas.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising in bar, bistro or gaming room
• Current RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers Licence per state requirements
• Willingness to perform physical tasks (manual handling) in a fast-paced venue

Responsibilities

• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely and with a great vibe
• Lead a team of hospitality staff and set the tone on the floor

Are you a hospitality professional ready to run the floor at one of the most vibrant and high-volume family taverns on the Gold Coast? The Pacific Pines Tavern is looking for a driven, floor-focused Assistant Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to keep a large crew moving in sync.

\"Pac Pines\" is a buzzing local powerhouse Whether it's a packed Friday night crowd catching the game in the sports bar, a bustling weekend dinner rush in the family bistro, or managing our gaming room operations, this venue requires a leader who loves being right at the center of a high-energy trade. We need someone with sharp operational instincts who can maintain elite standards and ensure our tight-knit community of regulars receives gold-class hospitality on every single shift.

A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:

• Get to know the locals so well they think you're part of the crew
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
• Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
• Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
• Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands‑on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

• You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising
• You’ve learned from great managers and now you're ready to step up
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
• You’ve got a current RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers Licence as per state requirements
