Job summary

Lockies Hotel is seeking an Assistant Manager to help keep the pub buzzing with a welcoming, community‑focused vibe. You will support the Publican, lead a team of hospo professionals, and ensure smooth, safe operations across bar, bistro and gaming spaces.

The role requires a current RSA, RCG and ARCG, and involves manual handling. You’ll engage with locals, uphold service standards, and be the face of the pub when the boss is away.

Qualifications

• Must have a current RSA, RCG and ARCG as per state requirements.
• Hands-on role involving manual handling and lifting.
• Ability to lead a team and maintain a great pub vibe.

Responsibilities

• Get to know locals and be part of the crew.
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe.
• Lead a team of hospo staff and learn the ropes of Publican duties.
