Job summary

Endeavour Group Careers' Highbury Hotel is seeking an Assistant Manager to help keep the venue buzzing with great service and a friendly vibe. You will support the Publican, lead a team, and ensure smooth, safe operations while delivering memorable experiences for locals.

You’ll need hands-on hospitality experience, a current RSA and RSG/RCG as required by state rules, and the confidence to stand in for leadership when the boss is away. A rewarding role with strong team culture awaits.

Qualifications

• Hands-on hospitality supervision experience in bar, bistro, or gaming environment.
• Experience leading a team and representing the pub when leadership is unavailable.
• Current RSA certificate and RSG/RCG as per state requirements.
• Comfort with physically demanding tasks including lifting and moving stock.

Responsibilities

• Know the locals and contribute to a welcoming pub vibe.
• Support the Publican to run the venue safely and smoothly.
• Lead a team of hospitality staff and model great service.
• Handle issues before they escalate to maintain a positive atmosphere.
