Job summary

Golfview Hotel in Guildford, NSW is seeking an Assistant Manager to help keep the venue buzzing and loved by locals. Base salary is 80,000 AUD plus Super, a bonus scheme, and group-wide discounts.

The role involves hands-on supervision across bar, bistro, and gaming rooms, with RSA/RCG/ARCG requirements and a focus on safety and great vibes. You’ll lead a team of hospitality specialists, work closely with the Publican to ensure smooth operations, and help create a welcoming, energetic pub

Qualifications

• Hands-on role requiring manual handling and lifting of stock, kegs, and deliveries.
• RSA, RCG and ARCG as per state requirements.
• Experience in bar, bistro, or gaming room supervision desirable.

We’re on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the Golfview Hotel buzzing and loved by the locals.

Located in Guildford right next to the Woodville Golf Course, Golfview Hotel is a beloved Western Sydney community hub. The venue features a busy Family Bistro, a popular Sports Bar equipped with a massive 155-inch screen and 8 tap beers, full TAB and Keno facilities, and a lively weekly entertainment lineup. We take pride in delivering top-tier, sincere, and friendly service to every guest.

A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:

• Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
• Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends

• Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

• You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising
• You’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step up
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
• You’ve got a current RSA, RCG and ARCG as per state requirements
