Job summary

ALH Hotels Findon Hotel in Adelaide is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations and guest experiences. The role offers a base salary of $80,000–$85,000 plus super, a Bonus Scheme, and staff discounts across Endeavour Group brands.

You’ll work with the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, lead a team of hospitality staff, and ensure the local venue delivers relaxed, friendly service that locals love. RSA, RSG, and RP badges are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold current RSA, RSG and RP badges per SA requirements.
• Hands-on role requiring manual handling and lifting.
• Experience supervising hospitality staff is a plus.

We’re on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the Findon Hotelbuzzing and loved by the locals.

Located just 15 minutes from Adelaide's CBD and 10 minutes from the airport, the Findon Hotel is a vibrant local favorite. Our multifaceted venue features a bustling Family Bistro, the lively Rat 'N' Parrot front bar with regular live bands, and convenient traveler accommodation. Join our team and help deliver relaxed, friendly hospitality to our loyal locals and visiting guests.

A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:

• Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
• Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
• Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
• Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift

Inherent requirements:

This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

• You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising
• You’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step up
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
• You’ve got a current RSA, RSG and RP Badgeas per state requirements
