Solotel Group is seeking an Assistant Manager for Goros in Surry Hills, Sydney. You will lead a high-energy team in a late-night venue, ensuring exceptional drinks, service and atmosphere, with strong emphasis on licensing and compliance.

Work closely with the General Manager to drive performance and guest experiences from early evening through late-night energy. This role offers involvement across a portfolio of venues and perks such as staff discounts, novated leasing, and access to wellness

Qualifications

• Experience leading hospitality teams in fast-paced, high-volume venues.
• Strong understanding of licensing, compliance and late-night operations.
• Ability to motivate a team and deliver guest experiences from early evening to late-night.

• Ensure high standards across drinks, service, and atmosphere during busy services.

We are on the hunt for an Assistant Manager with a passion for beverage & late night venues to lead our team!

The Role

As Assistant Manager of Goros, you’ll play a key leadership role in one of Surry Hills’ most exciting late-night venues, where quality cocktails, great music and high-energy service come together.

We’re looking for an experienced hospitality leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and knows how to bring energy to the floor while maintaining exceptional standards across drinks, service and atmosphere. You’ll have a strong understanding of licensing, compliance and late-night operations, with the confidence to lead the venue and team through busy services.

Working closely with the General Manager, you’ll support the day-to-day operation of the venue, including team leadership and development, rostering, service standards and operational performance. You’ll be a visible, hands‑on leader who knows how to motivate a team and create a memorable guest experience from early evening drinks through to late-night energy.

Fresh from a major refurbishment, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of the next chapter of Goros and help build one of Surry Hills’ go-to late-night destinations.
