Job summary

Endeavour Group's Albion Hotel is seeking an Assistant Manager to help keep the venue buzzing and loved by locals. This hands-on role involves leading a team, ensuring safe operations, and delivering great hospitality across every shift.

You will support the Publican, develop local relationships, and learn the ropes of pub management while upholding the high energy and service standards the group is known for.

Qualifications

• This is a hands-on role involving manual handling and lifting of stock, kegs, and deliveries.
• Supervisory experience in bar or bistro settings is preferred.
• RSA and Approved Manager certificates required per state regulations.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Assistant Manager | Albion Hotel

We’re on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the Albion Hotel buzzing and loved by the locals.

A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:

• Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
• Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
• Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
• Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

• You’ve been around the bar and bistro block, and maybe already done some supervising
• You’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step up
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
• You’ve got a current RSA and Approved Managersas per state requirements
