Job summary

Hype DC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for Charlestown to lead a high-volume retail environment. You will work with the Store Manager and Area Manager to assemble an exceptional team, foster a culture of delivering memorable customer experiences and drive commercial results.

You’ll partner to bring the Hype DC brand vision to life, supervise daily operations, optimize sales, and ensure safe, energetic store conditions while coaching and developing your team.

Qualifications

• Retail leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to coach and develop large teams.
• Strong focus on sales, operations and loss prevention.
• Experience as Retail Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.

The role & responsibilities

As Assistant Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

• Creating a WORLD CLASS team and a MAGICAL VIBE within your store

• Supporting the leadership of a multimillion-dollar business and driving financial sales goals and KPIs

• Bringing the Hype DC brand vision and strategy to life every day

• Putting our customer at the centre of every decision and delivering MEMORABLE experiences 100% of the time

• Creating a people-first culture by empowering, coaching and developing your team

• Providing regular coaching, support and feedback to drive performance and results

• Supporting recruitment, selection and onboarding of new team members

• Delivering a seamless omni-channel experience through the preparation and fulfilment of online orders

• Ensuring your store is best in class through Visual Merchandising excellence

• Maintaining an environment that is fun, energetic and safe for both customers and team members

• Working closely with your Store Manager and Area Manager to identify opportunities and accelerate business growth
