Job summary

Hart Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager to step into a visible leadership role within a modern accounting and advisory firm.

You’ll own a quality client portfolio across diverse industries and lead a small team of accountants in a collaborative Business Advisory environment where the work is well-structured, well-supported, and designed to be rewarding and manageable.

Qualifications

• Currently operating at Senior or Supervisor level in public practice
• Strong technical, client management and leadership skills
• Commercially minded with excellent communication skills
• Looking for a long-term opportunity with genuine progression

Responsibilities

• Manage own client portfolio
• Oversee complex tax compliance and advisory matters
• Deliver advice across CGT, Div7A, FBT, GST, restructures and tax planning
• Review work and mentor junior staff
• Manage workflow, WIP, budgets and team performance
• Work closely with Partners on client strategy and growth initiatives
