Responsibilities

• Complete morning shift duties as per Opening Sheet in-store.
• Assist in monitoring store operations.
• Monitor quality of product and customer service standards.
• Complete stocktake, WISR, Control Sheet and review with the Manager.
• Process drinks, vegetables and milk orders on required days.
• Monitor store costs and report variances to the Manager.
• Bank store takings when required.
• Explain store operation standards and new processes to staff.
• Provide training for new employees.
• Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service.
• Address customer complaints with the Manager or independently when needed.
• Report equipment failure and maintain equipment; respond promptly in outages.
• Implement and manage change in a constructive and proactive way.
• Maintain health and safety standards and hygiene at all times.
• Maintain uniform standards including name badge.
• Discuss and agree on any other duties with the Manager.

Main Responsibilities

Complete morning shift duties as per Opening Sheet Duties instore

Assist in monitoring store operations

Monitor quality of product & customer service standards as well as monitoring front of store presentation and outdoor areas.

Complete Stocktake, WISR, Control Sheet and send after reviewing by the Manager. Adjust Wages Time Sheet for submission to the Manager

Complete drinks, vegetable and milk orders on the required day and the Countrywide order when manager is away.

Keep abreast of store costs when completing the WISR and report excesses to the Manager

Bank store takings when required

Communicate store operation standards and new processes to staff as required

Provide training for new employees

Be available to other staff for instruction on new training techniques if required and for direction & support

Lead by example in delivering excellence in customer service

Report all customer complaints to the Manager and respond to & take remedial action on all customer complaints if the manager is not available

Report equipment failure to the manager immediately and generally maintain equipment. Respond efficiently in times of equipment failure if the manager is not available

Implement & manage change in an efficient, constructive & positive way.

Keep abreast of and maintain required health and safety standards

Maintain store food, safety, and hygiene standards at all times

Maintain your uniform standards including name badge

Other duties may be required as circumstances dictate and are to be discussed with the Manager and agreed to before any implementation.
