Royal North Shore Hospital, part of NSW Health, is seeking an Assistant in Nursing for Ward 7B in the Renal, Vascular and Urology unit. The role is permanent part-time, 36 hours per week, with remuneration between $32.86 and $36.05 per hour.

The unit offers exposure to peritoneal and haemodialysis, pre/post renal transplant care, and 12-hour rosters for work-life balance. Applicants must be enrolled in the second or third year of a Bachelor of Nursing or have a suitable Diploma/certification,

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in second or third year of a Bachelor of Nursing or Diploma of Nursing with evidence of completion of Block 1; or completion of HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance.
• Demonstrated, effective written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

An exciting opportunity to gain experience in the Renal, Urology and Vascular Surgery Ward at Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH).

Ward 7B is a mixed medical/surgical ward where you will gain experience in peritoneal and haemodialysis, pre and post renal transplant care, complex wound management, and management of bladder irrigation and ileal conduits.

• Demonstrated, effective written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
