HealthcareLink Pty Ltd is seeking an Assistant in Nursing for a state-of-the-art 486-bed teaching hospital in Sydney’s northern corridor. The role supports an acute 30-bed inpatient ward (5D) and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient care and therapeutic support.

Candidate must hold a Certificate III or IV in Community and Health Services or equivalent, with prior AIN experience in an acute setting.

Qualifications

• Certification at Certificate III or IV level in Community and Health Services, Personal Care, or equivalent from an approved training provider.
• Previous experience as an Assistant in Nursing in an acute hospital setting is highly desired.
• Current National Police Check and NSW Working with Children Check required; proof of immunity to specified infectious diseases.
• Responsibilities include assisting hospital staff with patient care, responding to enquiries, and practicing within state legislation and scope of practice parameters.

This state-of-the-art facility in Sydney’s northern corridor provides 486 beds catering to both public and private patients within a Level 5 delineation service. The successful candidate will join a dynamic 30-bed inpatient ward (5D) that opened during the hospital's 2024 expansion, focusing on a sophisticated mix of medical and surgical care. Working as an integral part of a high-functioning multidisciplinary team, the Assistant in Nursing will deliver essential patient support and therapeutic care while utilizing world-class facilities, including 14 state-of-the-art theatres, a 50-bed Emergency Department, and an innovative clinical school.

Compensation Details

This role offers competitive remuneration with final rates determined by the individual’s relevant experience and qualifications. The placement is scheduled to commence immediately, with the current recruitment phase active through early 2026. Requirements and Role Expectations
