Royal Rehabilitation Centre Sydney is seeking a dedicated Assistant in Nursing to join our Casual Pool at Royal Rehab Ryde. You will deliver compassionate, holistic care to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, helping them achieve personalised goals and milestones.

Qualifications

About the role

Join our Assistant in Nursing Casual Pool and make a real difference every shift! You’ll play a key role in delivering compassionate and holistic care to patients on an individualised basis in accordance with their goals and needs. If you strive for excellence in all you do, want flexible hours and would like to work as part of our supportive rehabilitation team.

Key responsibilities include

• Providing holistic patient care within the inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Promoting the development of therapeutic relationships with the aim of facilitating the patient’s rehabilitation goals.
• Supporting the objectives and philosophy of the Nursing Service.
• Contributing to the person’s rehabilitation goals in accordance with the Mission Statement of Royal Rehab.

About you

We seek a self-motivated and friendly individual with:

Essential Criteria

• Suitable qualifications for the level of applicant – Certificate III in Nursing or Registered Nurse undergraduate.
• Suitable knowledge & experience in rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated digital, verbal and written clinical communication with effective interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice.
