About the role

As an Assistant in Nursing in this casual role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality healthcare and support to our aged care residents. What you'll be doing

• Assisting registered nurses and other healthcare professionals in delivering personal care to residents
• Helping with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal assistance
• Monitoring and reporting on residents' health and well-being
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Providing a safe, comfortable, and caring environment for our residents
• Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

What we're looking for

• A relevant Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience as an Assistant in Nursing or similar role in an aged care setting
• Recent paid experience in Australia within the aged care sector within 6 months
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents and their families
• A compassionate and patient-centred approach to caregiving
• Excellent observation and problem-solving skills
• A commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
