Job summary

Opal HealthCare Bunbury Gardens Care Community in Bunbury WA is seeking caring individuals with a Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or Disability to provide personal care and support to residents. Nursing students are welcome, with emphasis on compassionate communication and reliability for a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.

The role offers a base rate plus penalties and a 12% “Part-Time opportunities” component, along with mentoring and development programs through the Opal

Qualifications

• Nursing student (occasional/part-time study)
• A caring approach with strong communication and resident wellbeing focus
• Reliability and availability to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care that supports residents’ daily living, dignity and wellbeing
• Build positive, meaningful relationships with residents and their families
• Support residents with meals, mobility, hygiene and social engagement
• Work collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team to deliver safe, high-quality care
• Contribute to a warm, respectful and supportive care community
• Follow workplace health, safety, clinical and compliance requirements
