Job summary

Green Point Christian College is seeking an experienced Christian educator to lead the day-to-day pastoral care, wellbeing and behaviour of students across Years 7 to 12.

Reporting to the Head of Secondary, the Assistant Head will supervise and develop the Year Advisor team, coordinate behaviour management, wellbeing programs and student leadership initiatives, and act as the first escalation point for welfare and discipline matters.

Qualifications

• Experience in pastoral leadership and student wellbeing.
• Ability to coach Year Advisors and lead a multi-year team.
• Experience implementing wellbeing, behaviour and attendance strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Year Advisor team across Years 7–12.
• Coordinate behaviour management and wellbeing initiatives.
• Coordinate student leadership programs and welfare processes.
• Collaborate with staff and families to ensure student care and timely interventions.
