Covetrus is seeking an Assistant Financial Analyst to join the APAC Finance team, based in Brisbane (Northgate) or Sydney (Erskine Park). Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you’ll drive reporting, budgeting and forecasting with strong Excel and PowerBI skills.

The role emphasizes accuracy, stakeholder reporting, and data support across sales, purchasing and warehouse teams in a flexible hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a similar corporate finance role.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Driven with a desire to progress within the organisation.
• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance or studying towards.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate customer and supplier reporting.
• Daily sales vs. target reporting to management.
• Support pricing maintenance and analysis.
• Manage monthly KPI reporting for stakeholders.
• Assist with budgets and forecasts.
• Maintain BI tools and reporting systems.
• Provide data support for sales, purchasing and warehouse teams.

The Role

We are seeking an Assistant Financial Analyst with strong analytical skills to join our APAC Finance team on a permanent basis. We are flexible for this role to be based out of Brisbane (Northgate) or Sydney (Erskine Park). Reporting to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, you will have a strong customer focus and play an important role in business analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Provision of accurate and timely customer and supplier reporting.
• Daily reporting of sales versus target to senior management and the wider business.
• Pricing maintenance support and analysis.
• Management of monthly KPI reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
• Sales variance reporting and maintenance of customer reporting data.
• Provision of assistance with budgets and forecasts.
• Maintenance of BI tools and reporting systems.
• Data support for sales, purchasing and warehouse teams.

About You

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a corporate environment.
• Sound business analysis skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• A driven attitude with a motivation to deliver and progress within the organisation.
• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance or studying towards.
• Strong MS Excel and PowerBI skills.
• The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated self-motivation and the willingness to learn.
