Job summary

Aurora Dairies is seeking an Assistant Farm Manager for a dairy farm in Simpson, Victoria (Simpson, ~40 minutes from Colac). The role offers accommodation and a pathway to career progression within a large dairy business focused on health, welfare and sustainability.

The position is 50 hours per week with a flexible roster, and a remuneration package starting at AU$81k per year, depending on skills and experience. Training and development opportunities are available.

What Aurora Dairies can offer you

Aurora Dairies are currently seeking an Assistant Farm Managerfor a dairy farm in Simpson, located 40 minutes from Colac in South West Victoria.

The farm is approximately 265ha effective area, currently milking 550 Friesian cows, through a 50 bail rotary shed with ACR’s and auto teat spray. GEA Dairy Plan is used for herd recording and the farm is predominantly pasture based with grain fed in the dairy. This farm is 80% Autumn and 20% Spring calving starting in March and late August.
