Job summary

Aurora Dairies is seeking a technically capable Dairy Systems & Data Coordinator to support farming operations across Tasmania. Based in Launceston, you will work with Farm Managers and teams to provide technical support and maximise the value of dairy management systems and farm technology.

Reporting to the General Manager Tasmania, you will drive data quality, deliver training, develop user resources, and contribute to continuous improvement while travelling between Aurora Dairies farms.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across a geographically dispersed workforce.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capability.
• Experience training, coaching or supporting users with varying levels of technical knowledge.
• Strong data management and data quality awareness.
• Solid Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel regularly between farms.
• Experience in dairy farming or agricultural technology is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for dairy management systems and farm software.
• Troubleshoot system, user access, device, connectivity and data-related issues.
• Support implementation, configuration and rollout of new systems and technologies.
• Deliver practical training and coaching to Farm Managers and farm teams.
• Develop user guides, training resources and SOPs.
• Support accurate, timely and consistent data entry across farms.
• Monitor data quality and investigate inconsistencies or anomalies.
• Assist Farm Managers to access and use operational reports and dashboards.
• Promote effective use of farm data to support decision-making and performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and technology adoption.
• Build strong relationships with Farm Managers and technology providers.
• Support digital transformation and continuous improvement projects.

Aurora Dairies is currently seeking a motivated and technically capable Dairy Systems & Data Coordinator to support our farming operations across Tasmania. Based in Launceston, this is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, technology and data to drive improvements across a large-scale dairy business.

Reporting to the General Manager Tasmania, the Dairy Systems & Data Coordinator will work closely with Farm Managers and farm teams to provide technical support, improve data quality, deliver training, and maximise the value of dairy management systems and farm technology across our operations.

Regular travel between Aurora Dairies farms will be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in dairy farming, agriculture, farm software, herd management systems or agricultural technology will be highly regarded.
