Job summary

Pullman East Melbourne is recruiting an Assistant Executive Housekeeping Manager to lead a high-paced team and ensure rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness and guest readiness.

You will support the Executive Housekeeper, focus on training and developing staff, and manage guest requests while maintaining safety and brand standards within a luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar high-paced role.
• Clear leadership to develop the housekeeping team.
• Strong attention to detail and delivery of quality.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily checking of designated team member areas to maintain standards.
• Inspect public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance.
• Train, mentor and support housekeeping team members for consistency.
• Handle guest requests and concerns related to housekeeping services.
• Ensure efficient use of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Report and follow up on maintenance issues for quick resolution.
• Adhere to hotel policies, hygiene procedures and safe work practices.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
