Job summary

Precious Momentz Childcare in NSW seeks an enthusiastic Assistant Educator to support children's learning, development and wellbeing in a safe, nurturing environment.

You will join a supportive team, assist with daily routines, play-based learning, and ensure respectful, positive interactions with children and families. A current NSW WWCC and a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or current study) are required or in progress.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children.
• Warm, caring and positive approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility, reliability and a willingness to support the team.
• Understanding of children’s wellbeing, learning and development.
• A current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, or currently enrolled and studying towards this qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support educators with the daily care, supervision and education of children.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Assist with routines including meals, sleep, nappy changing, toileting and transitions.
• Help implement engaging play-based learning experiences.
• Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment.
• Follow all centre policies, procedures and relevant health and safety requirements.
• Work collaboratively as part of a professional and supportive team.
