Job summary

G8 Education is seeking an dedicated Assistant Educator for our Curlewis centre. You will foster a warm, engaging learning environment and support children aged 0–5 across daily routines and activities.

Ideal candidates hold an ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma in Children’s Services, with EYLF/NQS knowledge, a current Working with Children Check and First Aid. We offer above award wages, discounts on childcare, and extensive professional development.

Qualifications

• Must hold ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma in Children’s Services.
• Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (0-5 years).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• First Aid certificate.

Responsibilities

• Support creation and maintenance of an outstanding learning environment for children 0–5 years.
• Deliver developmentally appropriate activities and daily routines.
• Collaborate with a supportive team to ensure safety and wellbeing of children.

Great Beginnings Curlewis is offering an exceptional candidate an Assistant Educator role within our fun-loving, supportive team. You will be a passionate, dedicated professional who strives to build and maintain an outstanding learning environment for our children.

About Us

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities.

At capacity our centre caters for up to 93 children with operating hours from 6.30am-6.30pm.

About You

• You will hold an ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate
