Job summary

G8 Education Ltd in NSW Morisset is seeking an experienced Assistant Educator to join Community Kids Morisset Early Education Centre. You will work as part of a supportive team to nurture and develop children aged 0–5, delivering high-quality care and learning activities.

The role is full-time (38 hours per week) with ACECQA-accepted Certificate III or Diploma in Childcare, EYLF/NQS understanding, and current Working with Children Check and First Aid.

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services.
• Understanding of EYLF and NQS.
• Experience as an Educator in an Early childhood service (0–5 years).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• First Aid certificate.

Responsibilities

• Support qualified educators to deliver EYLF-based learning activities.
• Create safe, welcoming learning environments for children aged 0–5.
• Assist with daily routines, supervision, and documentation.

This role is Full-Time working 38 hours per week.

About Us

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities.

At capacity our centre caters for up to 150children with operating hours from 7am to 6pm.

About You

• You will hold an ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or DiplomaQualification in Children’s Services
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate
