Job summary

Great Beginnings Bathurst, operated by G8 Education Ltd, is looking for an Assistant Educator to join our passionate team. This full-time role supports learning programs for children aged 0–5 and contributes to a safe, engaging environment.

You will hold an ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma in Children’s Services, understand EYLF and NQS, and have strong communication skills. Working with Children Check and First Aid are required.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the EYLF and the NQS.
• Experience working with children aged 0–5 years.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe, stimulating learning environment for children 0–5 years.
• Assist with planning and implementing learning activities aligned with EYLF/NQS.
• Collaborate with team to support daily routines and parent communication.

You will be a passionate, dedicated professional who strives to build and maintain an outstanding learning environment for our children. This role is Full-Time working 38 hours per week.

About Us

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities. About You

• You will hold an ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate
