Job summary

City of Melbourne seeks Assistant Early Childhood Educator to support delivery of engaging, developmentally appropriate programs at Lady Huntingfield Learning Centre. You will work with qualified educators to create safe, nurturing environments and foster partnerships with families.

Role focuses on collaboration, trauma-informed practice, and inclusive education, with a strong emphasis on wellbeing and development for all children.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or approved equivalent).
• Experience in an early childhood education and care setting.
• Current Working with Children Check, Police Check, First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and delivery of education and care programs aligned to the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Support children's learning and wellbeing through high-quality supervision and inclusive learning experiences.
• Build positive relationships with families, allied professionals and the community.
• Identify and report safety and wellbeing concerns in line with Child Safe Standards.
