Job summary

Goodstart South Nowra is seeking an Assistant Director to lead our centre and inspire the team. You will work with the Centre Director to ensure high-quality early learning and care while building strong relationships with families and the local community.

This full-time role offers salary at least 7% above the award, a range of benefits including childcare discounts, salary packaging, and wellbeing initiatives as part of Australia’s largest early learning not-for-profit.

Qualifications

• Experience in early learning and leadership of a centre.
• Ability to mentor staff and drive continuous improvement.
• Strong collaboration with families and community networks.

Responsibilities

• Support the Centre Director in leading the team to provide high-quality early learning and care.
• Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team.
• Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence.
• Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide.
