Little Lane’s Montessori Children’s House is a new service that will be opening up in 2025. This service will operate within long day care hours to support the families and children of Doncaster, Melbourne, and surrounding areas.
We are excited to invite candidates to apply for the position of Assistant Director. This is a new position within the Upper Management team and would work closely with the Director, Educational Leader, Administrator, and WH&S Officer. It is required that the successful candidate hold an ACECQA recognized qualification and Montessori Diploma in either 0-3 or 3-6, with experience within the sector and long day care requirements.
This role will assume responsibility for the services when the Director is away and would support the day-to-day running of the service. The successful candidate would require skills in using CCMS software and/or the ability to learn other relevant software programs for the operation of the service.
We are a strong community of experienced and passionate Montessori Guides. This position would contribute to and build the capacity of the team to further align with the Montessori philosophy.
The ideal candidate would work effectively as a member of the team, role model appropriate practices, and have good communication and written skills. You would have experience in supporting a large community of staff and families, alongside having the ability to enrich members of the team by sharing your knowledge and passion for the Montessori methodology.
We are also looking for a developed knowledge of the National Quality Framework, EYLF, and a collaborative approach to management.
