Job summary

The Y Australia is seeking an Assistant Coordinator for our Daisy Hill Outside School Hours Care team on a permanent part-time basis. You will support the Coordinator, lead programming and guide a dedicated staff team to deliver safe, engaging care for children.

Qualifications

Diploma in Children’s Services or related ECEC/Teaching qualification (or studying towards).
Experience in children’s programming and administration.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Valid Paid Blue Card or willingness to obtain.
Current First Aid & CPR certificate or willingness to obtain.
Commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment; familiarity with the National Quality Framework.

Responsibilities

Support the daily running of the service.
Assist with child-led, play-based programming.
Provide guidance to educators and staffing needs.
Maintain compliance and support administration processes.
Engage positively with children, families, schools and the local community.
