Mars is recruiting an Assistant Content Manager for Melbourne, VIC to drive content strategy and operations across ANZ for our Care & Treats portfolios. This fixed-term role offers hands-on leadership in a dynamic, pet-care branding environment.

What you’ll do:

• Brand Content Strategy Execution: Lead and implement the ANZ content strategy across the PESO (Paid, Earned, Shared, Owned) ecosystem for designated Care & Treats portfolios.

• Annual Planning & Calendar Management: Drive content planning in collaboration with brand teams and agency partners, managing the evolving content calendar and requirements.

• End-to-End Briefing & Production: Co-own the lifecycle from briefing and templates through stakeholder reviews, production, and final dispatch.

• Content Operations & MarTech Integration: Own content management workflows and platforms, partnering with cross-functional teams (e.g., MOT) to align MarTech, media, and channel interactions.

• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain proactive two-way engagement - gathering internal brand needs while providing ongoing guidance and updates.

• Performance Tracking & Continuous Improvement: Monitor KPIs and content effectiveness to drive results and optimize future strategy based on practical learnings.

Your unique ingredients:

• 2-3+ years in digital marketing, social media, or campaign management, backed by a strong grasp of marketing theories, tactics, and KPIs.

• Proven track record of placing internal and external customers at the core of all activities.

• Skilled in end-to-end project coordination and cross functional engagement with internal teams and external agency partners.

• Hands-on and entrepreneurial, with the ability to maximize impact within tight budgets, challenge conventions, and maintain high attention to detail.

• Strong understanding of common Marketing theories, tactics and KPIs

• Passion for cats and dogs would be ideal!
