Scholars Consulting Pty Ltd - Merrimac QLD is seeking an Assistant Centre Manager (2IC) to support the Centre Manager and lead the delivery of high-quality curriculum across the Natural Elements Merrimac Centre. This role is ideal for a confident, relationship-focused leader with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for early childhood education.

The successful candidate will hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent), have valid Working with Children Check and First

Qualifications

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent) required.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Current First Aid CPR and emergency Asthma & Anaphylaxis training.
• Experience with the NQF, NQS, EYLF & the QKLG.
• Ability to interpret curriculum documents.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Centre Manager when needed and support/lead your team when required.
• Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment.
• Work collaboratively within a team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
• Oversee and role model the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive, educational program.
• Participate in professional and personal development.
• Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values.
