Job summary

Elevation Early Learning is seeking an Assistant Centre Manager to support the Centre Manager in running a busy early learning centre in Craigieburn, VIC. You will help implement programs, partnerships, and the Early Years Framework to enhance children's development.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Early Learning sector; progression to senior roles such as Room Leader or Educational Leader.
• Experience working with children.
• Experience supervising or mentoring a team of staff.
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office and related systems.
• Proficiency with XAP, QIKKIDS and Time Target.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Centre Manager to ensure efficient management of the early learning centre.
• Support the Centre Manager to develop and implement programs and partnerships to enhance Early Years Learning Plans.
• Oversee the health and well-being of children and staff, and strengthen children’s social, emotional, intellectual and physical development.

If you want to join us in this incredible journey as an Assistant Centre Manager, your role will be:

• To provide support to the Centre Manager to ensure the efficient and effective management of the early learning centre.
• To support the Centre Manager to develop and implement programs and partnerships to enhance and support development of Early Years Learning Plans in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Support the Centre Manager to oversee the effectiveness of the centre with regards to the health and well-being of the children and staff, which also includes enhancing the children's educational opportunities through strengthening their social, emotional, intellectual and physical development.

As a compassionate and inspiring Assistant Centre Manager, you will have:

• Previous experience working in the Early Learning sector; preferably including time spent working as an Educator showing progression to more senior roles such as Room Leader, Educational Leader or 3IC/2IC roles.
• Must have experience working with children.
• Experience supervising or mentoring a team of staff members.li>
• Experience in all aspects of educational programming within the Early Years Framework; including the development of Centre's resources, books, posters.
• Experience developing and managing staff rosters.
• Proven experience within a leadership role.
• Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Solid computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft packages; proficiency in the use of XAP, QIKKIDS and Time Target, or similar systems.
