Job summary

Guardian Childcare & Education Everton Hills centre seeks an Assistant Centre Director to lead alongside the Centre Director and Leadership Team. You will support safety, learning excellence, and relationships with families, ensuring high-quality early childhood experiences.

Qualifications include a Diploma in Children's Services or B.Ed, and current First Aid/WWC. You will drive culture, coach staff, and contribute to decisions about resources and education delivery.

Qualifications

Completed Diploma in Children's Services or Bachelor of Education.
Experience in a long day-care centre in a senior/leadership role.
Sound knowledge of NQF and EYLF and budget accountability.
Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates, WWC.

Responsibilities

Support Centre Leadership Team to create a safe, brave, curious learning environment.
Build lasting relationships with families to keep them informed and confident.
Promote a culture of quality and safety and drive Guardian's mindset.
Contribute to business decisions to invest profits into high‑quality learning.
Collaborate with Centre Director and teams to share best practice.
