Moët Hennessy Australia in Sydney seeks an Assistant Brand Manager for Champagne to drive end-to-end brand strategies for Moët & Chandon and Veuve Clicquot. Qualifications

  • 2–3+ years’ experience in marketing, brand or FMCG/luxury environment.
  • Experience in wines & spirits or luxury goods is advantageous.
  • Strong project management capability with a high standard of execution.
  • Commercial mindset with sound analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate insights into clear and actionable recommendations.
  • Degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Brand Planning and Management: develop annual Brand Plans and activation calendars aligned with Maison strategy.
  • Trade & Consumer Activation: coordinate integrated campaigns across ATL, BTL, digital, PR, partnerships, events and trade.
  • Financial Management & Governance: manage A&P budgets, PO creation, tracking and reconciliation.
  • Performance & Business Analysis: analyse sales, market share, campaign performance and prepare reports.
  • Inventory & Operational Support: forecast with Supply Chain and manage POS/inventory.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Representation: collaborate with Brand, Sales, Finance and Operations; represent brands at events.

Overview Of The Position

The Assistant Brand Manager, Champagne supports the end-to-end development and execution of brand strategies across Moët & Chandon and Veuve Clicquot. Partnering closely with the Brand Manager, this role contributes to annual planning, leads day-to-day project delivery and ensures all marketing initiatives are executed on time, on budget and in line with Maison guidelines.

The role balances creativity with commercial discipline, working cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and agency partners to strengthen brand equity, enhance consumer experiences and deliver business performance.

How you will contribute…

Key Responsibilities
Brand Planning and Management
  • Support the preparation of annual Brand Plans and activation calendars in line with Maison strategy and local priorities
  • Coordinate the delivery of integrated campaigns across ATL, BTL, digital, PR, partnerships, events and trade
  • Lead briefing, development and rollout of POS, value-added packs and brand assets
  • Act as a brand guardian to ensure all executions reflect premium standards and brand equity
  • Manage agencies and external partners to deliver high-quality, on-brand outcomes
Trade & Consumer Activation
  • Collaborate with Customer Marketing and Sales to deliver best-in-class trade and consumer activations
  • Support key customer initiatives, partnerships and events to enhance brand visibility and desirability
  • Participate in trade time and market visits to gather insights and inform recommendations
Financial Management & Governance
  • Manage A&P budgets including purchase order creation, tracking, reconciliation and compliance
  • Monitor spend versus budget and proactively identify risks or efficiencies
  • Build understanding of brand P&L drivers and contribute to ROI measurement on marketing investments
  • Ensure adherence to internal processes, audit requirements and vendor management standards
Performance & Business Analysis
  • Analyse sales, market share and campaign performance to identify opportunities and risks
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and Maison partners
  • Conduct competitor and market scans to inform future planning and optimisation
Inventory & Operational Support
  • Support forecasting and collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure appropriate stock levels and availability
  • Manage POS and promotional material inventory and recommend optimisations
  • Assist with lifecycle and clearance management to maintain portfolio health
Stakeholder Collaboration & Representation
  • Work closely with Brand, Sales, Customer Marketing, Finance and Operations teams to ensure aligned execution
  • Partner with Maison stakeholders as required to deliver local priorities
  • Liaise with agencies across media, digital, PR and production
  • Represent the brands at events, tastings and functions where appropriate
