Job summary

Audemars Piguet in Sydney seeks an experienced Senior Client Consultant to lead the boutique’s daily operations and deliver an exceptional, highly personalized client experience that reflects the brand’s standards.

You will mentor and coach the team, manage a portfolio of key clients, drive client development strategies, monitor KPIs and sales pipeline, and ensure flawless service, stock management, merchandising, and governance across the boutique.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in luxury retail or hospitality with supervisory experience.
  • Proven leadership in a luxury environment.
  • Strong client-centric mindset with HNW clientele experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop others.
  • Strong sales and business acumen with an ability to contribute to performance.
  • Experience in client development and clienteling.

Responsibilities

  • Support Boutique Director in day-to-day management and performance.
  • Act as a key floor leader and deputize for the Boutique Director when required.
  • Ensure exceptional, consistent client experience across the client journey.
  • Maintain and develop a portfolio of key and high-potential clients.
  • Support client development strategies, including segmentation and progression initiatives.
  • Drive client engagement through clienteling and personalized relationship management.
  • Monitor CRM data and boutique KPIs, sales pipeline and conversion.
  • Coach and develop Client Consultants to enhance selling skills and product knowledge.
  • Oversee onboarding and development of team members; maintain high-performance environment.
  • Maintain strong on-floor presence and brand storytelling in service delivery.
  • Ensure stock management, merchandising standards and governance compliance.

Job Description

Within the boutique, your main mission will be to support the Boutique Director in driving overall boutique performance by delivering an exceptional and highly personalized customer experience, contributing to business objectives and leading the team by example in line with Audemars Piguet's standards, values and retail vision.

As Audemars Piguet's first official boutique in Australia, this role represents a unique opportunity to contribute to the establishment and development of the brand's presence in the market while playing a key role in fostering excellence across client experience, team performance and boutique operations.

In this context, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Boutique Director in the day-to-day management of the boutique, ensuring operational excellence and business performance
  • Acting as a key leader on the floor and deputizing for the Boutique Director when required
  • Ensuring an exceptional and consistent customer experience across the entire client journey, in line with brand standards
  • Maintaining and developing a personal portfolio of key and high-potential clients while supporting client acquisition and long-term engagement
  • Supporting the execution of client development strategies, including segmentation, portfolio management and client progression initiatives
  • Driving client engagement through best-in-class clienteling practices and personalized relationship management
  • Monitoring and managing the client database (CRM) to support client development and engagement
  • Coaching, mentoring and developing Client Consultants and Senior Client Consultants to enhance selling skills, product knowledge and client experience
  • Supporting onboarding and the continuous development of team members while fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment
  • Providing day-to-day guidance and feedback to support individual and team success
  • Maintaining a strong on-floor presence, ensuring excellence in service, brand storytelling and client experience at all times
  • Supporting boutique performance through close monitoring of KPIs, sales pipeline and conversion
  • Managing daily floor coordination and ensuring seamless execution of boutique operations
  • Supporting stock management, merchandising standards and operational compliance requirements
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with local, regional and global priorities
  • Ensuring adherence to internal policies, operational standards and corporate governance requirements
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in luxury retail or hospitality, including supervisory or team leadership responsibilities
  • Proven experience as a top-performing Senior Client Consultant or in a similar leadership role within a luxury environment
  • Strong client-centric mindset with experience engaging HNW or VIC clientele
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, develop and support the performance of others
  • Strong sales and business acumen with the ability to contribute to commercial performance and deliver results
  • Experience in client development, clienteling and relationship management within a luxury environment
  • Leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate, influence and support high-performing teams
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and build strong relationships
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with retail tools and CRM systems
  • Willingness to support leadership responsibilities and act as a key point of contact in the Boutique Director's absence
