About the Role and the Company

Our client, a well-established automotive group , is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their team.

Specializing in the JLR (Jaguar Land Rover) and INEOS Grenadier brands, they offer a premium range of vehicles and are known for their outstanding customer service.

Location: Blakehurst, NSW (100% onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Employment Type: Permanent

About You

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the accounts function. You’ll be responsible for a range of tasks from reconciliations to registrations, supporting both the finance team and senior management.

Your Key Responsibilities

Month-end processes – prepare BAS, balance sheet reconciliations & collate month-end binders
Handle warranty receipts and adjustments
Reconcile daily banking and bank statements
Manage Accounts Receivable, including wholesale debtors
Support Accounts Payable as needed
Assist with motor vehicle registration processing
Process deal pack costings
Provide ad-hoc admin and operational support to the wider office team

What We’re Looking For
Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounting or accounts roles
Strong skills in General Ledger, BAS, and reconciliations
Confident communicator able to work across teams and levels
High attention to detail and accuracy
Willingness to step in and support across roles when needed
Experience with systems like Revolution, Pentana or similar (ideal, not essential)
