Job Description

Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our Corporate Finance team, based in either our Parramatta or Sydney CBD office. In this role, you will ensure revenue recognition compliance, support AR functions and contribute to month-end processes, tax reviews and balance sheet reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review deal documentation to ensure revenue compliance.
  • Support AR functions including cash allocation and refunds.
  • Prepare accounting journals and monthly reconciliations.
  • Monitor co-agency fees processing and completeness of compliance documentation.
  • Assist with finance projects and system/process improvements.
Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance.
  • 2-3 yearsin a similar junior/assistant accounting role is essential.
  • Understanding of accounting and tax principles.
  • Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and ability to manage deadlines.
